Have we heard this before? BPL?

Larry Page (founder of Google) had some things to say about "White Spaces". Check out this video:

Larry's dealings with the FCC are similar to what was observed in the BPL issue. It seems that those currently making the decisions have no technical background. Worse, it seems they don't care what those with technical background (people who know what they are talking about) have to say anyway. Scary.

It's even more scary when you consider all the other things the government is trying to fix, in which there is NO expertise - like Wall Street.

Non-technical FCC problem

Lets hope that Jon Peha, Ph.D (new FCC chief technologist) has a louder voice than the lobbyists.

In what way?

Are you refering to Larry Page, the engineers employed by him, the FCC, the Alliance for White Spaces use or another group of people who are making decesions on white spaces without technical knoledge?

What is the government trying to fix in this case?
