Many thanks to the hams who provided communications for the Longmont Kiwanis, who

coordinate the Parade each year.

Jim coordinated this event which provided a community service and promoted the club. Thanks Jim!

Bill drove his communications wonder vehicle in the parade, with the LARC signs on it.   Thanks Bill, that was cool!

Duane provided communications for the director from the registration booth.  He also guarded trophies?  Ask Duane....Thanks Duane!

Chip provided communications from a main entrance and later for the people at the judges grandstand.  Thanks Chip!

I followed the parade director around to provide communications for him.  Many questions were fielded and relayed which saved steps and helped the parade go a little smoother. 

The event went well and the Longmont Kiwanis were pleased.  Next year we plan to do more for them. 

The event came up on short notice, but next year we will have plenty of notice to plan and get more volunteers.   If this sounds fun, keep it in mind.
